Lightship Ministries' Beacon

Our new interactive web site for sharing the power of knowing Jesus Christ in our lives. We have blogs, photos, videos and more.
I was once given a dream, that I would tell the word of God to the world, and today with the internet this is certainly possible! Won't you come by and check us out, maybe it could change your life...
Peace be with you,

Internet Evangelism Resources
Internet Evangelism Resources
A resource for churches, bible colleges, outreach teams & individuals, because …
igital media have transformed the world in the last 15 years. We have entered a new ‘digital communication culture’ where all the rules for effective communication have changed. Even offline!
There are 1.7 billion web users, and over 3 billion people use mobile phones (increasingly these are web-equipped). The Web is not just another means of communication, but a hyper-medium that subsumes, links together, and enhances all previous media.
What do we offer?
Internet Evangelism Day exists to help Christians understand the huge and growing potential to share the good news of Jesus through digital media. We offer two complementary concepts:
an annual focus day on the last Sunday of April each year
a year-round resource guide, with ideas and strategies for all types of digital evangelism

A Real Lightship Sailor!

Yes I was in the Coast Guard, and I went onto sail aboard a Lightship, and then was a marine engineer aboard a tugboat before I became a Chaplain. Providentially this all happened on my 20 years of Military service.
Do things happen by accident...? I think not, but cannot normally explain how I can understand this reasoning, except to say that I have seen enough in my life to be able to live by faith.
Ben Franklin in his old age, also acknowledged the presence of a Divine plan unfolding in his life and the life of his country.
Ben was a scientist and inventor besides being a Statesman, yet he was not blinded by his own intellect or power.
Why do people relate to Forrest Gump and other similar characters so well, probably because films like this show the goodness of a loving God, and although we feel small and incapable at times, God has a plan for us... That's what I think anyway, and if you want to meet others who hold this same hope, visit my Christian social network at "Lightship Beacon" (Posted below) if you are interested in others experiences in the Christian faith, and remember, your not reading this post by accident!
